I'm going to take a guess and say...Coffee Pot.
It's going to drive me crazy. There are clues there. Such as you are reflected in the picture with the camera and the window blinds and wall... so I'm guessing it was taken in your apartment possibly. And it seems more like the camera was angled down at the object. There is moisture droplets and steam or heat waves??? There is movement in the image. Do I at least get credit for trying to analyze it?! I think I'm trying too hard. Lets go with stove top burner or tea infuser.
